Douwe has two decades of newsroom experience under his belt. He reported on the collapse of Lehman Brothers from across the street at Reuters in London, to then cover the new financial regulatory regime from Washington D.C. Most recently, he built up a newsroom for the Luxembourg Times. In PR, he travelled around the world as the speechwriter for Klaus Regling, the head of the EU’s €750 billion crisis resolution body. He has excellent access to editors and journalists at major financial publications. Fluent in four languages, and having worked in six different countries, he is now using his expertise to help business and public sector leaders tell stories that captivate broad audiences, and gain public acceptance for their stated purposes.
